We believe that this is the idealized position most cyclists seek: efficient, sustainable for long durations, and perfectly tuned for when the road turns upwards. It’s a bike that will not only embrace challenge; it will deliver on the journeys that lie ahead, in terms of both performance and those spiritual cycling emotions. NXR is a bike designed to take you from the urban center of Grenoble, on the snaking road towards Vizelle and the classic climb of the Col de la Croix de Fer for coffee and croissants at the summit cafe, before descending in time for dinner overlooking one of the many Renaissance squares. Ultimately, we set out to create a class-leading bike - it’s now up to you to create cycling memories.
Listening to our cycling community, we took forward those proven elements from Alpe D’Huez, whilst also focusing on creating for the future. We built the NXR to fit tires up to 32mm and even on the cobbles of historic Prague, the bike remains responsive and in control, dealing with the road surfaces as they change from smooth tarmac to something more challenging.
It's easy to overlook strength and safety features, focusing only on numbers and a flashy appearance. But the same technologies that inform TIME's ride quality and beautiful carbon layering also make them some of the most durable machines on the road. Kevlar® reinforced steerer tubes and Dyneema® enhanced frame structure are largely unique to TIME, and so when your NXR never stops serving you after experiencing decades of "just riding along" impacts and use, you'll realize yet again that TIME truly is different.
