For the XS30 wheelset we use a special 35g carbon prepreg, which allows us to design a differentiated layer structure. Instead of a few thick layers, we use a lot of thin ones and thus have the possibility to use the material where it is needed. In return, it can be saved in other places, which leads to an optimal result in terms of weight vs. stability. So with about 330g weight per rim, they should be one of the lightest on the market. Through our Solid Edge Design, meaning the complete circumferential laminate in the rim flange, the rims also get a high puncture resistance. The XS30 is built for XC racers who pay attention to every gram and want to deliver the highest performance in the hunt for seconds.
