Wolf Tooth ALT XC Clipless Pedals are designed for commanding performance on trails and gravel roads. These pedals are simultaneously lighter and thinner than their Shimano, Hope, and HT counterparts, with an exceptionally low stack height, while also having more platform area for control and power transfer. This body design also features a more open center for better mud clearance than other clipless bike pedals. The SPD-compatible clip-in/out experience is quick and precise, with Wolf Tooth cleats included.
The ALT XC Clipless Pedals have an adjustable Q factor in 4 mm increments. Inside the pedal is a stainless steel axle, three bearings, and two spacers. The spacers and bearings can be rearranged for Q factors of 51, 55, or 59 mm. This is simple enough for anyone to do at home. A spacer kit including four 2 mm spacers is available for purchase to further fine-tune Q Factor adjustment. Recommended
- Apply WT-G Precision Bike Grease to the pedal threads before installing pedals on crankarms.
- All SPD pedals benefit from simple regular maintenance. For best performance apply a drop of oil to the rear binding every 50 hours of riding or if you notice higher than normal clip in/out force. See the service guide for more information.
